1.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Let your heart be light From now on, our troubles will be out of sight Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Make the Yule-tide gay, From now on, our troubles will be miles away. Here we are as in olden days, Happy golden days of yore. Faithful friends who are dear to us Gather near to us once more. Through the years We all will be together, If the Fates allow Hang a shining star upon the highest bough. And have yourself A merry little Christmas now.
2.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev'rywhere you go; Take a look in the five-and-ten, glistening once again With candy canes and silver lanes aglow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Toys in ev'ry store, But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be On your own front door. A pair of hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots Is the wish of Barney and Ben; Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk With Janice and Jen; And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev'rywhere you go; There's a tree in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well, The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas; Soon the bells will start, And the thing that will make them ring is the carol that you sing Right within your heart.

I should know Who I am by now I walk The record stands somehow Thinking of winter Your name is the splinter inside me While I wait And I remember the sound Of your November downtown And I remember the truth A warm December with you But I don't have to make this mistake And I don't have to stay this way If only I would wait The walk has all been cleared by now Your voice is all I hear somehow Calling out Winter Your voice is the splinter inside me While I wait I remember the sound Of your November downtown And I remember the truth A warm December with you But I don't have to make this mistake And I don't have to stay this way If only I would wait I could have lost myself In rough blue waters in your eyes And I miss you still I remember the sound Of your November downtown And I remember the truth A warm December with you But I don't have to make this mistake And I don't have to stay this way If only I would wait

about

"A delightful sampling of a couple of Christmas favourites recorded in St Bees, Cumbria"

I tried to keep things quite raw with track 1, it's a beautiful emotive song and wanted to reflect that with minimalism - the vocals and piano are live recordings with the "oohs" and strings added in later.

We let our hair down a little more with track 2, which we had a blast recording! Featuring bells and and a banjo!

Hope you enjoy!
